Goldcoast Development Foundation, a Bayelsa based nonprofit is lay to bury her patroness, Mrs. Goldcoast Dickson who passed absent on the 8th of August 2018 at the age of 72. Mrs. Goldcoast; fondly known as Mama Gogo, was a visionary and selfless mother to numerous, in whose legacy the inception was founded to positively impact the lives of rural women and offspring of communities within Bayelsa and the Niger-Delta location.

Goldcoast Dickson: Foundation announces burial schedule as patroness is laid to rest

 

In October 2018, the inception was involved in providing over 10,000 relief materials to women and offspring affected by the flood in the Niger-Delta location and received a commendation from the Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osibanjo, throughout his process visits to flood-affected states. This is a testimony to the example laid by Mrs. Goldcoast, as she has been a lifelong contributor to the lives of women and offspring in Bayelsa kingdom. “Those of us who utilize been lucky plenty to grasp Mrs. Goldcoast utilize missing a dear mother and a correct lover of humanity”, said Mr. Authority Benson; the Coordinator of the Foundation.

The burial schedule for Mrs. Goldcoast Dickson as announced by the family would commence with a service of songs on Thursday, 6th December 2018 at the Bayelsa kingdom Ecumenical Center, Igbogene, Yenagoa, Bayelsa State. This would be followed on Friday, 7th December, 2018 by a wake-keeping and a commendation and thanksgiving service on 8th and 9th December, 2018.
